At ORIGO we use a four-stage approach to help students develop fluency of skills over time.
First, we Introduce the skill using concrete and pictorial models. The skill is then Reinforced with games and activities to help students internalize the thinking. In the third stage, the students begin to Practice the skills with symbols to develop accuracy and speed. Finally, the students Extend their skills to new situations that often involve greater numbers.
